Maldives Immigration has updated its tourist visa extension process, with the new system taking effect on 23 April 2026.
According to the authority, applicants will no longer need to re-enter information that is already held in its database.
The change forms part of the Maldives 2.0 Initiative, which aims to expand digital services and improve the overall experience of visitors to the country.
